heroes series 3 thoughts
watching the third series of heroes is like when you slowly stubble over drunk, it lasts forever, there's not much you can do and you look like a idiot as you desperately try to remain standing.
im sure there are many sites, which go in to fine detail about the contradictions and plotholes in the series, so i wont go in to too much depth about them. im not going to go in to how nathan changed his mind based on what's on his ipod " oh, i love this song, i love a bit of wham, lets save the world :) ..... oh its radiohead, dont feel like saving the world any more :( " his motivation changed every episode. im not going to go in to how they made hiro a ten year old boy, and this changed hiro how? he went from a immature adult to a mature child. im not going to go into the whole problem of how they didnt actually explain the actual problems. how does giving everyone powers ruin the world?
i am certainly not going to ramble on about how they reduced one of the best modern villians ,sylar, to a little whiny child who made no sense.
im going to say one thing, heroes series 3 was pointless.
what was the point in the whole series, what was the development.
nathan wanted to expose the heroes, and now he wants to expose them in a slighty different way
sylar was a psycho at the beginning of the series, and with all the kerfuffle of him changing, he is once again a psycho.
peter was a multi purpose super hero at the beginning of the series, now he is one again.
hiro was a annoying twat at the beginning of the series, now he is a annoying twat (minus the powers) at the end.
and thats just the problem the whole series is pointless, all the good from series 2 has been rid of (and believe it or not, there was some good in that series, adam was a good villian, elle was a good contribution despite her abuse in series 3).
if i had any sort of social life i would be quite willing to avoid this series, but luckly for their rating i have nothing better to do, if you dont include stubbing my toe.
